Marshall hosts American Museum of Magic camp
For first time, the American Museum of Magic in Marshall offered a summer camp program where children played magic-themed games and learned simple tricks. The 20 available slots quickly filled and a waiting list grew, reports the Battle Creek Enquirer.
So a second camp was offered. Twenty children, ages 7 to 14, were learning magic tricks at a short summer camp.
Along with tapping into kids’ natural curiosity, the camp also teaches kids confidence and performing skills, said Jeff Taylor, museum of magic director.

“That’s the ultimate measure of success in this — is that regardless of how many kids you have, the ones that are there have a good time,” Taylor said.
