Second Wave takes a break for Labor Day Holiday
The nights and mornings have that crispness that heralds the coming of fall. Before it gets here we have one last weekend of summer. Enjoy. And come back Sept. 12.
We hope your Labor Day holiday plans are in place and you enjoy summer’s last gasp. We’re planning on a week off to enjoy it ourselves.
With the holiday approaching it’s time for another short break for us. Southwest Michigan’s Second Wave will not publish the week of Sept. 5, though there will be Facebook and Twitter updates throughout the hiatus.
In the online publication business we call these “dark weeks” but we are really hoping it’s an opportunity to get out in the sun a bit to celebrate summer before it reaches its rapidly approaching end.
We will return Sept. 12 with new stories and pictures.
