Oshtemo Township updates master plan, public invited to review

The public will have an opportunity to look at the proposed master plan for Oshtemo Township before it is presented at a May 12 public hearing, MLive reports.

Township Planning Director Jodi Stefforia said the existing master plan is from 1993 and relies on census data from the 1990s.
       
Excerpt:

“So many things had changed in the township and the region since 1993,” Stefforia said. “This plan is very similar in its goals, objectives and future land use. The biggest change is the updates to the historical profiles and the population and housing profile.”
