Innkeepers billet American vets on Veterans Day
For Veteran’s Day this year, vets are getting a little extra TLC. Some 400 inkeepers across America an inviting veterans from all branches of the armed fouces to stay without charges Wednesday, Nov. 10 and wake up to a special breakfast Veteran’s Day, Nov. 11.
The Victoria Resort blog reports its rooms are booked for the holiday.

Jan Leksich, the owner, simply said “If a getaway to our bed and breakfast, our town and our shoreline helps, then I am glad to do it. Maybe it will give a military spouse a little hope, maybe it will show a veteran they are not forgotten, maybe it will be a spark for others to show their appreciation as well.”
