Inn at Harbor Shores now taking reservations

From its art to its food and beverage options, even its linens, The Inn at Harbor Shores is putting Michigan products in the spotlight.

The new hotel, the first high-rise to go up on Lake Michigan’s southwest shore in 10 years, opened just in time for special events connected with the 75th Senior PGA tournament in Benton Harbor.

The Inn at Harbor Shores features 92 guestrooms, 14 suites and 10,000 square feet of event space. Rooms in the $26 million waterfront property all come with views either of Lake Michigan or of the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course at Harbor Shores.

A special feature is a rooftop deck on the ninth story with sweeping views of Lake Michigan, St. Joseph River, Harbor Shores Golf Course and the City of St. Joseph. An indoor swimming pool, indoor-outdoor whirlpool and fitness center along with a luxury resort spa are further amenities.

Diners will be made welcome in Plank’s Tavern, a restaurant serving handcrafted food and beverages featuring local ingredients.

Guest boaters will find convenient docking at The Harbor Shores Marina, steps from The Inn’s amenities. Seasonal slip boaters and guest boaters will have access to the many public amenities at The Inn including Plank’s Tavern, the Spa and the Inn Market.
