Conservation groups launch collaborative website

A collaborative effort by more than 40 environmental groups has resulted in a new publication and a website.

The Kalamazoo Gazette reports the groups want to jump-Michigan’s economy through clean energy innovation, protect the state’s water supply from unsafe oil and gas drilling practices, develop high speed rail and protect children from exposure to toxic chemicals.

“This effort to present the top priorities in the state has been a collaborative and involved process,” said James Clift, Policy Director for the Michigan Environmental Council.
