Bronson welcomes three new health care providers

Bronson in Kalamazoo has recently added three new health care providers to its staff.

Nathan Mollberg, DO, to its team. Dr. Mollberg, a native of Southwest Michigan, is the latest team member to join Bronson Cardiothoracic Surgery. Mollberg is board eligible in cardiothoracic surgery. He completed his general surgery residency at University of Illinois at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago, Ill., and his cardiothoracic surgery residency at University of Washington, Seattle, Wash. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing. He specializes in thoracic oncology and has special interests in lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mediastinal tumors, VATS lobectomy and minimally invasive esophagectomy.  

Bronson Internal Medicine Hospital Specialists has added Christina Vaughn, DNP, to their team. She joins a group of internal medicine hospital specialists who provide around-the-clock prevention, diagnosis and treatment of non-surgical diseases for hospitalized patients. Vaughn is a board certified nurse practitioner and earned her doctorate of nursing practice from University of Michigan in Flint, Mich.  

Joseph Wheeler, PhD, has joined the team Bronson Neuroscience Center. Dr. Wheeler is a clinical psychologist with a subspecialty in neuropsychology. He completed his fellowship of clinical neuropsychology at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Ind. Dr. Wheeler completed his psychiatry and behavioral neurosciences internship at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He specializes in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of psychological disorders associated with conditions affecting the brain. These conditions include dementia and memory loss as well as neurological competency testing for certain surgical procedures. Dr. Wheeler will provide neuropsychological testing services in Kalamazoo and Paw Paw. He can be reached at Bronson Neuroscience Center – Kalamazoo, or BronsonLakeView Neurobehavioral Health.
