Kalamazoo Gazette: Ancient Native American remains found in Hartford

When a severe storm toppled a tree last year in Hartford human remains were found. The Kalamazoo Gazette reports those remains are of a Native American and believed to be 100 to 200 years old.
Excerpt: The sheriff’s office has turned the remains over to the tribal authorities of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians for interment on tribal land.
