AVB hires Doug Phillips as director of client relations

AVB Construction has hired Doug Phillips as its Director of Client Relations. Phillips will be developing relationships with new clients that are intended to result in successful construction projects and long-term client satisfaction for AVB Construction, the commercial projects division of AVB Construction.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial construction industry as an owner’s representative and project manager, as well as in business development.

Phillips also will oversee AVB’s branding, marketing and community outreach efforts.

He is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a B.S. in Construction Management.

Phillips also serves the community on a number of boards including the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, Goodwill Industries of Southwest Michigan, the Kalamazoo Regional Chamber of Commerce and The Montessori School.

Building Southwest Michigan since 1981, AVB includes AVB Construction, a division focused on commercial construction management in the healthcare, education, office and retail markets and American Village Builders, the custom residential building division of AVB.
