No more leasing for Honor Credit Union in Benton Harbor.

The credit union recently celebrated the completion of remodeling work at its 2,500-square-foot branch at 1873 Napier Ave. in Benton Harbor. The newly remodeled offices have an open layout.

An expanded drive thru and two drive-up ATMs also were part of the work done there.

The new office is the work place for eight employees.

Honor had been leasing office space at Orchard’s Mall while the new branch was under construction.

Honor also is expanding its administrative operations into downtown Benton Harbor at 53 West Wall Street. It will be home for the credit union’s Member Solutions Center, also known as the call center, back office operations and a number of management personnel. It will not be open to credit union members.

Honor Credit Union, a $425 million community based credit union, provides a wide range of affordable financial services to more than 38,000 members in 14 counties in Michigan.

Marilyn Arend, vice president of Operations has overseen the building on Napier and also the move to downtown. “We are excited about our new branch and the administrative facilities on Wall Street,” she says.
