Borgess ProMed welcomes two new doctors

Two doctors have joined Borgess ProMed Family Practice at the Woodbridge and Three Rivers locations. They are Dr. Brittany Irey and Dr. Kalind Parashar.

Dr. Irey completed her medical residency with the Truman Medical Center and Children’s Mercy Hospital at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. She earned her medical degree of the Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Penn. Dr. Irey is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the American Medical Association.

Dr. Parashar is a nuclear oncology fellow in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He was a chief resident in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and also was a chief resident in the Department of Family Medicine at the Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies.

Dr. Parashar is a member of numerous scientific and medical societies, including the American Medical Association, and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine. He is board certified with the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, and with the American Board of Family Medicine.
