Biz leaders say economic turnaround is under way
The head of Business Leaders for Michigan says Michigan’s economic turnaround is under way, reports MLive.com.
Doug Rothwell was in Kalamazoo recently to meet with about 100 business people at a gathering hosted by William U. Parfet, chairman and CEO of MPI Research, and a member of Business Leaders for Michigan.
The five-step turnaround plan that Business Leaders has been pushing since the statewide organization of top executives formed two years ago is being acted upon, Rothwell said.

“There is a mood among business leaders that is more optimistic than what we’ve seen in quite some time,” he said.
