New CFO of Traverse City tech hub to double as Tribal Liaison for local Native American communities

What’s happening: Traverse City tech startup incubator and coworking space 20Fathoms announced the hiring of Shiloh Slomsky, who will not only serve as Chief Financial Officer but also as Tribal Liaison for the organization. In her latter role, Slomsky will lead efforts to deliver startup programming and other support in partnership with Native American communities local to the region.

Bona fides: Among her accomplishments, Slomsky co-founded and served as Executive Director of the Traverse City-based Arrowhead Incubator, a nonprofit that focused on Native American economic and community development by way of entrepreneurial and small business programming. She is currently serving as a board member of the Tuscarora Township Economic Development Citizens Task Force, and is a member of Kiwanis.
