Snow Fest Market at Midland Mall
This weekend, Snow Fest will feature over 80 vendors, making it a perfect one-stop shopping experience for the holiday season. The three-day event will take place at the
Midland Mall at 6800 Eastman Ave. and will offer various products, including jewelry, baked goods, games, art, and more.
The event is free and open the following dates and times:
Friday, Dec. 12, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 13, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 14, noon. - 5 p.m.
"It’s a Wonderful Life" live radio broadcast
Creative 360 and the Creative Radio Network will present the beloved holiday classic "It’s a Wonderful Life" as a live 1940s-style radio broadcast on Friday, Dec. 13, and Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Jefferson Avenue stage.
“It’s a Wonderful Life is a feel-good, family-friendly tradition during the holiday season,” said Laura Vosejpka, executive director of Creative 360. “We are very excited to offer this beloved piece of nostalgia to the community this season.”

Chippewa Nature Center Winter bird feeding
Chippewa Nature Center invites the community to a Winter Bird Feeding event on Sunday, Dec. 15, from 1 to 2 p.m. at 400 S. Badour Road.
Led by an interpretive naturalist, participants will learn birding basics and practice identifying winter bird species by sight and sound during a guided stroll. With fewer species present in the colder months, this is an ideal opportunity for beginners to sharpen their birding skills.
The event is free for participants aged 12 and older. Those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The group will meet at the visitor center.

Midland Concert Bands Holiday Concert
Join the Midland Concert Band for their annual Holiday Melodies performance on Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. Get in the seasonal spirit with a concert featuring festive classics, holiday cheer, and a special guest Center Chorale.

Greater Midland Community Center announces winter programs
The
Greater Midland Community Center is preparing for winter with an exciting lineup of programs for all ages. Registration opened on Dec. 9, and organizers encourage early sign-ups to secure spots and avoid late fees.
The center offers many activities, including aquatics, wellness, sports, and more. Highlights this season include volleyball for both youth and adults, sewing classes, basketball, swimming, gymnastics, and additional programs designed to promote personal growth and community engagement.
They have programs suited for every skill level and interest. Each is designed to keep participants active and connected throughout the winter months.
Two winter sessions are available:
Winter Session 1: Jan. 5 to Feb. 15 (Late fee of $10 applies after Dec. 29)
Winter Session 2: Feb. 16 to March 29 (Late fee of $10 applies after Feb. 9)
Participants are advised to register early to avoid the $10 late fee that kicks in for each session after the specified dates.
