July things to do: Fireworks, Fiesta, Coast Guard Fest, county fairs, kids’ activities, and music

Here we are in July already. The weather’s fine and there are a lot — and I mean A LOT — of events in the calendar this month. We naturally start with the Fourth of July, which brings us parades, cookouts, fireworks, and more. Muskegon County and Ottawa County fairs are this month, as are the Coast Guard Festival, walking tours, street performers, a Greek festival and a water festival, a motorcycle rally, a bicycling fundraiser, a Murder Mystery Train, Rock the Coast, Zeelmainia, theater, movies, and a celebration of disability independence. July offers a wide variety of things to do in Allegan, Muskegon, and Ottawa counties. This list includes options for everyone, regardless of age, ability, or interest.
