Get vaccinated in Bay County this week and you could win a prize

Getting your COVID-19 vaccine this week could earn you protection from sickness plus a 2-year lease on a 2021 Buick Encore, a $500 Best Buy gift card, or other prizes.

Bay County’s Drive to Get Vaccinated clinics are being held Thurs., May 20 through Sat., May 22.

With the end of mask mandates for fully-vaccinated people and the high transmission rate of the recent variants, vaccination is more important than ever, say representatives from the Bay County Health Department. That's why they're encouraging residents to get the vaccine as soon as it is offered to them. Recent studies have demonstrated that the COVID-19 vaccines are effective against the variants.

With this in mind, Bay County organizations are joining forces to provide clinics in areas throughout Bay County to drive vaccination rates higher.

As an added incentive to get residents vaccinated, giveaways and incentive prizes totaling $18,500 will be awarded, including a two-year paid car lease on a 2021 Buick Encore, $500 Best Buy gift card, and more.

Each person vaccinated at a Drive to Get Vaccinated clinic will receive a gift and  be eligible to win additional prizes. Bay County residents who are already vaccinated can enter into the drawing by filling out a form at a Drive to Get Vaccinated clinic or by submitting an online form.
